Talent-R Barcelona busca un profesional de QA especializado en pruebas manuales bajo Linux y entornos de red para un entorno de ciberseguridad. La posición es 100% on-site en Barcelona.

Entre las tareas se incluyen preparar entornos, validar builds, ejecutar pruebas (a veces scriptadas) y practicar pruebas exploratorias, además de documentar evidencias y gestionar incidencias. Se requiere disciplina, visión detallista y capacidad de comunicar riesgos y estado a equipos en diferentes zonas

Formación

• Robust networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, subnetting, routing, packet capture.
• Strong Linux skills: install/configure services, networking tools, log analysis, shell use.
• Discipline in manual testing: meticulous execution, evidence gathering, defect reporting.
• Ability to turn technical specs into actionable test scenarios/checklists.
• Comfort with terminal work and light scripting.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Environment prep: install, configure, and network-set-up test systems.
• Build validation: pull artifacts/configs from upstream platform and prepare tests.

About the role

Day-to-day

• Environment prep: install, configure, and network-set-up test systems, including provisioning test data.
• Build validation: pull artifacts and configs from the upstream platform team, integrate them, and confirm theyre ready to test.
• Test execution: run (and sometimes write) scripted test cases, plus exploratory testing across networked components and services.
• Manual QA coverage: functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing, all hands‑on.
• Evidence & defects: collect logs, capture clean evidence, file reproducible bug reports, and verify fixes actually land.
• Stakeholder comms: report status, risks, and readiness clearly, working across time zones.
