Job summary
Novartis in La Almunia de Doña Godina (Zaragoza, Spain) is seeking a QA Compliance Lead to strengthen quality culture and ensure GMP and regulatory compliance across the site. You will drive inspection readiness, supplier oversight, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and patient safety.
The role requires a life sciences degree, 4+ years in pharma compliance, and fluency in Spanish and English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a life science discipline (Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering)
- At least four years of pharmaceutical industry experience with exposure to compliance and Quality Systems
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GCP and Pharmacovigilance requirements
- Solid understanding of regulatory Quality Systems in pharma
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles and tools
- Fluent Spanish and English, with strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure site Quality Systems comply with GMP regulations and Novartis standards
- Lead inspection readiness and support regulatory inspections and audits
- Plan and support Product Quality Reviews and Site Quality Plan execution
- Oversee supplier quality activities including QA agreements and audits
- Coordinate Quality Management Reviews and monitor Key Quality Indicators
- Support qualification, validation, change control and quality documentation activities
- Provide oversight of data integrity, electronic compliance and process quality assurance
- Support quality escalations, product recalls and market withdrawals
