SQLI Group in Valencia is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join an international team working on a sophisticated desktop application. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for desktop apps, and validate frontend, backend, and API functionality across the stack.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Heads-on experience with Squish or another automation framework.
• Experience with C++ desktop applications.
• Strong testing experience for frontend, backend, system integrations and APIs.
• Postman for API testing and validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join an international team working on a sophisticated desktop application. This role requires a strong automation background and hands-on experience testing across frontend, backend, integrations, and APIs.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for desktop applications.

Execute and improve end-to-end testing strategies covering frontend, backend, and system integrations.

Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.

Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Squish for test automation or any other framework.
• Valuable experience working in environments where C++ applications are developed and maintained.
• Strong experience testing desktop applications.
• Proven experience testing:
• Frontend functionality
• Backend services
• System integrations
• APIs
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with the ability to integrate testing into development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
