Amaris Consulting busca un Senior QA Automation Engineer para unirse a un equipo internacional en Barcelona. Diseñarás, mantendrás y ejecutarás marcos de pruebas automatizadas con Playwright, Cucumber y Java/JS/TS, asegurando calidad y rendimiento en sistemas complejos.

Se requiere experiencia en pruebas de rendimiento, servicio API y buenas prácticas Agile/Scrum. Se valorará Inglés B2+ y español nativo. Ubicación: Barcelona, con opciones de trabajo remoto según el proyecto.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener marcos de pruebas automatizadas y scripts de prueba con Playwright, Cucumber, JS/TS y Java.
• Ejecutar pruebas funcionales, de regresión, integración, API y rendimiento.
• Analizar requisitos para definir estrategias y escenarios de prueba.
• Colaborar con desarrolladores, product owners y stakeholders para entregar software de alta calidad.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance across complex systems. Spanish fluency is required as part of this role.

What would you need

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, QA Automation Tester, or similar Testing & Quality Assurance role.
• Strong proficiency with Playwright, Cucumber, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Grafana k6, and Distributed Load Testing on AWS (DLTA).
• Solid knowledge of SQL, database validation, and version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with AWS Services (AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, Cloud9) and CI/CD processes.
• Proven experience with API testing and web services testing using tools such as Postman.
• Experience designing and executing testing strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Good level of English (B2+).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What will you be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, Cucumber, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing activities.
• Design and run load and performance tests using JMeter, Grafana k6, and AWS load testing solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define effective test strategies and test scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Validate APIs and web services using Postman and other testing tools.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing processes.
• Perform database validations and SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Participate in code reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in QA Automation, Performance Testing, and Cloud-based Quality Engineering.
