Job summary

Greenvolt Next is seeking an Engineer to actively contribute to the correct design of renewable energy projects, focusing on self-consumption energy distribution. You will participate in design supervision, procurement support, and coordination across designers, installers, and EPC contractors across Spain.

You will review technical drawings, ensure documentation quality, and help optimize layouts and studies while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with preference for Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects, mainly self-consumption energy distribution.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and PVSyst.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in tendering processes (RFQ/RFP), supporting technical requirements, design reviews, and supplier evaluations for DG solar projects.
• Review design drawings and participate in discussions with designers, installers, and EPC contractors.
• Support quality assurance of services/products provided by external suppliers and contractors.
• Assist in preparation, coordination and control of technical documentation for timely project execution.
• Prepare technical specifications and scopes of work for procurement and contractor selection processes.
• Support project scheduling and coordination to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of DG renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with permitting requirements, local regulations and technical standards during the design phase.
• Review layouts, technical studies and engineering reports to identify optimization opportunities and improvements.
• Coordinate information flow among internal stakeholders and support project handover activities with complete documentation.

The Engineer is going to contribute directly to the correct design of Greenvolt projects'. This role involves actively participating in the design supervision and creation of renewable energy projects, focusing on self-consumption energy distribution.

Requirements

• Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly from self-consumption energy distribution
• Familiarity with the components and technical equipment usually installed in self-consumption energy distribution.
• Knowledge/use of AutoCAD y PVSyst
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proactivity, autonomy and strong capability to anticipate and capability solutions
• Availability to travel around Spain, in all areas where projects are.
