Job summary

Qualitas Energy is seeking a Technical/ Commercial Asset Manager for its PV Asset Management team in Madrid. You will monitor performance, manage O&M relationships, and support budget planning and regulatory coordination.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in asset management or O&M in renewables, with strong Excel skills and English proficiency. A permanent contract and salary commensurate with experience are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Energy/Elec/Industrial preferred).
• 1–3 years in Asset Management, O&M, or technical advisory in renewables.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant performance via SCADA and monitoring tools.
• Track key technical KPIs and analyse deviations from budgeted performance.
• Supervise O&M contractors and ensure service levels.
• Manage technical warranty claims with EPCs and suppliers.
• Support relationships with regulatory bodies and grid operators.
• Ensure compliance with grid code, HSE, and local rules.
• Prepare operating budgets including Opex and Capex.
• Manage O&M, Asset Management, insurance, and grid-connection contracts.
• Oversee PPAs and revenue-related agreements.
• Support insurance claims and collate technical documentation.
• Prepare reports for management, investors, lenders.
• Assist asset acquisitions and technical due diligence.
• Contribute to process and tooling improvements in Asset Management.
