Etex in Spain is seeking a Strategic Buyer for PLADUR to lead and optimise purchasing activities across five plants, drive cost savings, and ensure timely, compliant procurement processes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with European operations, manage supplier performance, and support growth and efficiency while upholding safety standards and supplier relationships.

• Experience leading procurement projects in a manufacturing environment.

Summary

Creates a good corporate image and executes the company’s strategy as a day-to-day contact person for handling enquiries and preparing offers for clients. Ensures achievement of sales targets by handling orders and coordinating claims activities as well as proactively reaching out to existing customers for quotes, claim, and to grow daily business. Work to improve the order process both to secure growth, profit, efficiency, and development. Maintains relationships with existing clients. Spot new possibilities.

What You'll Do

Strategic buyer in PLADUR, with local expense base above 40 Million euro (higher due to individual Capex).

• Optimisation of the purchasing activities of Pladur in the 5 plants, by bundling and optimising the demand for technical goods and services.
• Ensuring that the quality and deadlines agreed with the suppliers and service providers are adhered to, making full use of the available rationalisation and optimisation potentials and in compliance with Etex's safety standards.

Contribute to Pladur to led strategic procurement projects from sourcing to contract management, driving savings, innovation, quality improvements, and supplier performance. Developed category strategies, ensured procurement compliance, optimized costs, and supported cross-functional collaboration and reporting across European operations.
