Grup Montaner, a consultancy in Tarragona, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join a leading multinational company based in Bràfim Tarragona. The role focuses on executing purchasing activities, optimizing costs, and building long-term supplier partnerships within an international environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of purchasing experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Purchasing Specialist or similar procurement role.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Valid Category B driving license.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct market analysis to identify purchasing optimization opportunities.
• Support strategic and investment purchasing projects.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitiveness and quality.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve the best commercial conditions.
• Manage relationships with service providers and international suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand business needs and ensure efficient procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and fire protection regulations.
• Use PPE when required.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Drive a company vehicle when business needs require it.

Your Mission

As a Purchasing Specialist, your mission will be to execute purchasing activities that ensure the timely supply of goods and services, optimize company costs, build and maintain long-term supplier relationships, and support the purchasing team in achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis to identify purchasing optimization opportunities.
• Support strategic and investment purchasing projects.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitiveness and quality.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve the best commercial conditions.
• Manage relationships with service providers and international suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand business needs and ensure efficient procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and fire protection regulations.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Drive a company vehicle when business needs require it.
• Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor in accordance with labor regulations and business needs.

What We Offer

• Permanent, full-time contract.
• On-site position based in Bràfim, Tarragona.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
• Competitive annual salary between €28,000 -€35,000 gross, depending on the candidate's experience and background.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in a Purchasing Specialist or similar procurement role.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Valid Category B driving license.
