Burson, part of WPP, in Madrid is seeking a passionate Public Affairs Communication professional to join our team as a Manager. You will support institutional positioning for clients and supervise regulatory developments across Spain and the EU.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in political science or related field, 5+ years in public affairs, strong English (C1), and proven client management and project coordination skills. This hybrid role offers collaborative growth and diverse challenges.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in political science, law, international relations, institutional relations, communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in public affairs, institutional relations, political communication, corporate communication, or a relevant agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish political and parliamentary system.
• High level of spoken and written English (C1).
• Experience in client management and project coordination.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Creative, proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic, diverse, and inclusive environments.

Responsabilidades

• Support Public Affairs strategies and institutional positioning for companies and sector associations.
• Analyse and supervise political and regulatory developments across the Spanish and European institutional landscape.
• Identify legislative risks and opportunities and contribute to defining strategic lines of action for clients.
• Support communication and public affairs strategies, particularly in highly regulated sectors.
• Provide strategic support and contribute to client account management and relationships.
• Prepare and supervise reports, briefings, messaging, stakeholder mapping, and other communication materials.
• Support project coordination and help guide junior team members.
• Contribute to new business opportunities, proposals, and pitches.
