Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a skilled proposal writer to develop client-focused narratives and bid responses. You will craft compelling content, executive summaries, case studies, and presentation materials that clearly communicate our value proposition.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of experience in proposal writing or related marketing roles and hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in proposal writing, bid management support, marketing communications, content creation, agency, consulting, or business development environments.
• Ideal: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, English, Public Relations, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of compelling, client-focused proposal narratives and bid responses.
• Write proposal content, executive summaries, case studies, and presentation materials.
• Help transform client requirements, business challenges, and insights into clear and persuasive messaging.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, Sales, Account Management, and Proposal teams to align messaging across deliverables.
• Assist in reviewing RFPs and ensuring proposal content addresses client requirements and evaluation criteria.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the development of compelling, client-focused proposal narratives and bid responses
• Write proposal content, executive summaries, case studies, and presentation materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Help transform client requirements, business challenges, and insights into clear and persuasive messaging.
• Contribute to proposal storytelling, ensuring content is engaging, structured, and strategically aligned.
• Research client industries, brands, competitors, and market trends to strengthen proposal positioning.
• Develop content that highlights our capabilities, expertise, creative thinking, and operational excellence.
• Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and narrative quality across proposals and pitch materials
• Support the creation and maintenance of proposal content libraries, credentials, templates, and case studies.
• Assist in reviewing RFPs and ensuring proposal content addresses client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Proofread and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and editorial excellence.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, Sales, Account Management, and Proposal teams to align messaging across deliverables.
• Support award submissions through content development, case study writing, and project storytelling.
• Participate in proposal reviews and quality assurance activities to enhance submission quality.
• Track and maintain proposal documentation, content assets, and related records.
• Continuously build expertise in proposal writing, strategic communications, and industry best practices
