ICF is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join our Europe & Asia Business Management team on a permanent basis to drive the financial performance of the ICF activities. The role is based in Madrid, Spain.

You will handle project re-forecasting, forecasting, budgeting and revenue profiling, collaborating with Project Managers and Directors to monitor financials and deliver accurate month-end reporting. A proactive, team-oriented mindset and solid Excel/financial systems experience are essential.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in finance, ideally in professional services.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and financial modelling.
• Experience with financial systems, ideally Maconomy.
• Keen to study or currently pursuing a finance qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Project re-forecasting to ensure revenue is recognised correctly.
• Forecasting, revenue profiling and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Directors across diverse teams.
• Monitor and analyse project financials with PMs and Directors.
• Own portfolio of projects and manage month-end processes and reporting.
• Set up new projects in ERP per contract and SOX regulations.
• Calculate and post monthly sub-contractor accruals.
• Input to month-end processes and reports.
• Client billing; liaise with Treasury to monitor aged debts and reduce WIP.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

Description

We are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to join our Europe & Asia Business Management team on a permanent basis to drive the financial performance of the ICF activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Project re-forecasting in accordance with ICF policies and procedures to ensure revenue is being recognised correctly.
• Forecasting, Revenue Profiling and budgeting are important aspects of the role.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers and Project Directors across diverse teams, disciplines, and backgrounds.
• Monitoring and analysis of project financials in liaison with Project Managers and Directors.
• Responsible for their own portfolio of projects and in charge of month end processes and reporting
• New project set ups in ERP system, in accordance with the contract and SOX regulations
• Calculating and posting monthly sub-contractor accruals
• Inputting to month end processes and reports
• Client billing, working with Treasury to monitor aged debts and chase, accordingly, help to reduce WIP
• Ad-Hoc duties as and when required.

Basic Requirements

• Excel skills to intermediate level (pivot tables, lookup formulas, financial modelling)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within finance function ideally gained within professional services, although all applicants will be considered, as long as they can demonstrate aptitude.
• Experienced user of financial systems (currently adopting Maconomy)
• Keen to study or already studying towards a finance qualification
