Mondelēz International in Spain seeks a Project Engineer to plan, develop and execute capital projects in the supply chain, ensuring adherence to Mondelēz standards and safe, compliant delivery.

With 3–5 years in engineering or manufacturing, you will manage end-to-end projects, negotiate with suppliers, and align budgets with forecasts while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Formación

• 3-5 years' experience in engineering or operations.
• Experience in a factory is required.
• End-to-end project management including technical, capex, supplier negotiations, installation and commissioning.
• Fluency in Spanish and English

Responsabilidades

• Define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase with stakeholders.
• Develop capital budgets and ensure alignment with contracts and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure engineering developments and standards are implemented and best practices rolled out.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across quality, security, production, logistics and maintenance.

You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.

How you will contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

Job specific requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience
• Experience in a factory is really needed
• Experience managing engineering projects from the start to end: technical, capex management, suppliers' negotiation, project defence, installation and commissioning.
• Food or chemical industry experience is a preference, but any other industry will be also considered.
• Negotiation skills
• Spanish fluent
• English fluent

• Engineering degree
