Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Building & Construction engineer/architect to join the FMRE Building Construction team in Getafe, Madrid. The role focuses on civil works delivery, design of facilities and spaces, and management of construction projects in an ESG-guided environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in construction/infrastructure, strong project management and English skills, and demonstrable leadership abilities within industrial projects.

Formación

• Must have a building/engineering background with 5+ years of construction or infra experience.
• Experience in the industrial sector is highly valued.
• Strong project management, quality assurance and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency required.

Job Description

An opportunity for a Building & construction engineer/architect has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe, Madrid. The selected candidate will join the Facility Management Real Estate (FMRE) team and inside FMRE, the Building Construction team. FMRE is a key department in Airbus in charge of: ESG policies in the facilities, all civil works, supply and management of energy, transportation, hospitality, maintenance of the facilities, designing the spaces of the offices, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Deliver civil works
• 2. Design facilities and spaces
• 3. Manage constructions and works
• 4. Apply ESG concepts
• 5. Apply the Airbus leadership model

SKILLS

Technical skills we are looking for: being accountable and responsible for building and construction works and projects under Airbus responsibility: Engineering | Architecture | (engineering level = EQF7 / MECES 3) Building background Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and/or infrastructure projects ( 10+ years of experience preferred) Valuable experience in construction projects in the industrial sector. Project management experience / Project management skills Quality assurance Technical management Procedures follow up CapEx/OpEx & finance control R&O management Planning management Licenses & administration management Negotiation level of English Mandatory experience in building & construction area, as an engineer in field/or as a project technical manager.
