Job summary

Essity is seeking a Production Planning Team Leader to join the Professional Hygiene Supply Planning Organization in Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona, Spain. You will lead a team of Production Planners and ensure reliable execution across the supply network, driving planning excellence and business continuity.

Reporting to the Supply Planning Operations Manager, you will oversee performance, develop talent, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field.
• Minimum years of experience in supply planning/production planning or related functions.
• Proven people leadership and development experience.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with Excel and BI tools.
• Experience with SAP planning solutions (APO, IBP, S/4HANA) or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Production Planners, coaching performance and fostering a high‑performing planning culture.
• Ensure effective execution of planning activities to secure product availability and optimize inventory, service, and working capital.
• Act as the key link between the Supply Planning Hub and internal/external stakeholders for alignment and decision-making.
• Drive planning performance by monitoring KPIs, root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Support digital transformation by adopting tools, standardized processes, and new ways of working across the planning network.
