Fedrigoni in Málaga, Spain, is seeking a Production Planner to support the entire supply chain from raw materials through final delivery. You will collaborate with Production, Supply Chain and Sales to translate forecasts into feasible production plans.

The role requires 3+ years in production planning, strong ERP/MRP knowledge, Navision and Power BI proficiency, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment while visiting suppliers twice monthly.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of production, inventory and supply chain management processes.
  • Experience with production planning software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Knowledge of MRP/MPS methodologies and production forecasting, capacity planning and cost control.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision and Power BI is considered a plus.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to accept new challenges as MRP implementation, with support of Operations Manager.
  • Knowledge of the paper mill industry is a plus.
  • Spanish and Catalan proficiency level + English B2 level required;.

Responsabilidades

  • Collaborating with Production, Supply Chain and Sales teams to review demand forecasts and plan production requirements.
  • Analysing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Creating, maintaining and adjusting production schedules, considering lead times, production capacity and resource constraints.
  • Releasing and managing production orders for both in-house manufacturing and outsourced suppliers.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and purchasing teams to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Monitoring production progress and adapting plans to meet changing business demands.
  • Visiting the two main outsourced suppliers twice per month.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and material management.
  • Supporting MRP implementation projects in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, production technologies and best practices in production planning.

Mission and key priorities of the role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will join the Supply Chain team to support all stages of the planning process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the entire supply chain runs smoothly - from the timely release of raw material orders, through efficient production operations, to the final delivery of products to customers.
