FrieslandCampina Spain is seeking an experienced Production Manager for its Zaragoza (La Muela) factory. You will ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable production aligned with company strategy, delivering high-quality products to meet client needs while maintaining cost efficiency.

You will lead planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets and KPIs, and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic environment. English and Spanish proficiency is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in production/manufacturing management.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Strong people management and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; business-oriented partner to plant management.

Responsabilidades

• Translate production plans with Supply Chain to deliver volumes cost-effectively.
• Develop and maintain production organization, planning, and improvement programs.
• Own production KPIs and cascade targets across the organization.
• Ensure quality policies, compliance, and safe, reliable operations.
• Lead, develop, and engage the production team and HR-aligned objectives.

The Production Manager ensures the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all manufacturing activities in line with company strategy. The role guarantees that products are delivered sustainably and cost-effectively while meeting customer requirements in terms of quality, volume, and service. It drives operational excellence, fosters a continuous improvement culture, and leads production teams to achieve performance, compliance, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Production planning & delivery: In close collaboration with the Supply Chain function, translate production plans into executed output. Ensure timely delivery of agreed volumes in a cost-efficient manner to internal customers.
• Operational execution & continuous improvement: Develop and maintain an effective production organization, including operational planning, engineering activities, and continuous improvement programs. Ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing performance. Own production KPIs and ensure proper cascading across the organization.
• Quality & compliance: Implement and ensure execution of plant quality policies in line with company strategy, legal, and regulatory requirements. Safeguard production processes and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality and safe products.
• Budget & cost management: Manage production budgets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and achievement of financial targets.
• People leadership & development: Lead, develop, and engage the production team in line with HR policies. Build organizational capability, foster a strong performance culture, and support employee development to achieve business objectives.
