AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Production Applications Engineer to support MES applications, data modeling, and system integration on the shop floor in Barcelona. The role collaborates with production teams to translate operational needs into digital solutions that connect MES, SQL, and internal apps.

You will develop JavaScript and Python logic, maintain documentation, and provide user support, with growing exposure to systems integration and manufacturing digitalization in a cutting-edge space

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing systems or internal app development.
• Experience with Tulip, SAP ME, Siemens Opcenter, or MES preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and enhance MES applications supporting production, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
• Design and optimize MES data tables to ensure data integrity and avoid duplicates.
• Develop integration functions connecting MES with SQL databases, REST APIs, and other apps.
• Support and integrate WATS with MES and related systems.
• Develop JavaScript and Python logic for triggers and widgets when visual tools fall short.
• Collaborate with production teams to translate needs into usable applications.
• Maintain documentation, naming standards, and environment separation.
• Provide first-level support to manufacturing users and implement minor enhancements.
