Apply for Product Strategy & Operations Manager at NEWRY GLOBAL MEDIA in Madrid, MD, ES. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.
Own the tracking, analysis, and validation of product initiatives across the app portfolio. This role answers two questions for leadership on a continuous basis: are the things we planned on track, and is what we are shipping actually working?
Maintain a single, current view of every product initiative across the portfolio: owner, hypothesis, status, expected impact Surface stalls, dependencies, and blockers before they become delays Run the review cadence with product leadership
Independently assess whether experiment results support the conclusions drawn from them Check sample size, duration against metric lag, variable isolation, stopping rules, and metric selection Challenge weak reads directly with the owning PM Maintain the standard for what counts as a valid result
Identify patterns across the portfolio: what is working repeatedly, what is failing repeatedly, where effort is misallocated Produce written recommendations leadership can act on Flag initiatives that should be stopped
Work with the MMP Analytics Manager & PMs to ensure analysis rests on verified data Escalate measurement gaps that make initiatives unassessable
Can independently judge whether an experiment result is valid: power, duration, variable isolation, stopping rules, metric selection Can get to an answer without an analyst intermediating, and knows when the answer is wrong: what a cohort is anchored on, why two sources disagree, when a sample is too small, when a metric lags the change Thinks at portfolio level, not project level Writes clearly enough for leadership to act without rewriting Comfortable being unpopular Good to Have Subscription or mobile app domain knowledge (retention curves, LTV, trial mechanics) Consulting background: structure, executive presence, portfolio habits Prior experience inside a product organisation Python or equivalent beyond basic analysis Has built a tracking system rather than inherited one
