Job summary

TMEIC is seeking a Technical Product Owner in Valencia to own the product backlog and translate business needs into development tasks. You will work closely with software developers, architects and stakeholders in an Agile setting to ensure delivery of high-value software products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, or Technical Lead.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Scrum frameworks.
• Experience writing user stories, epics and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of APIs, client-server architectures and integrations.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English level B2 or above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Technical Lead or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with Scrum frameworks.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience writing user stories, epics and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of APIs, client-server architectures and software integrations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English level B2 or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software development or software architecture background.
• Experience managing backlogs in complex software environments.
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and support solution decisions alongside engineering teams.
• Experience working in industrial automation, logistics, transportation or port technology environments.
