Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, is seeking a Product Owner in Madrid to translate business needs into clear user stories and drive delivery. You will refine the backlog, define acceptance criteria, collaborate with UX/UI, Engineering and Operations, and ensure release readiness and QA/UAT support.

Fluency in Spanish, a university degree, and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup with 60% on-site are required.

Formación

• 5+ years in product analysis or ownership, or related field.
• Experience supporting delivery across Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations.
• Experience in payments, banking, or operational platforms (preferred).
• University degree or equivalent practical experience (Required).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Product Owner, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

• Analyse business and user requirements for Quantum to define needs, expected outcomes, and delivery priorities.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional rules, and acceptance criteria that guide implementation.
• Maintain backlog readiness by refining scope, documenting requirements, tracking dependencies, and clarifying open points.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure feasibility, consistency, and shared understanding.
• Validate delivered functionality through functional reviews and support for QA and UAT against agreed acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate and accessible product documentation to support delivery and operational continuity.
• Identify product gaps, delivery risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, communicating them early to relevant stakeholders.
• Support release readiness and cross-team communication to enable the smooth delivery of Quantum enhancements.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Product Owner to join our team, with the following qualifications and background:

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product analysis, product ownership, business analysis, UX support, or digital product delivery. (Required)
• Experience supporting product delivery across Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations teams. (Required)
• Experience in payments, banking, or operational platforms. (Preferred)

Education

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. (Required)

Languages

• Fluent Spanish. (Required)
