Businessinsights seeks an experienced Product Owner / Project Manager – IT Performance Lead to drive a strategic data product for IT performance management and operational excellence across the organization.

You will bridge business stakeholders, IT and data teams to deliver high-value solutions that improve efficiency, visibility and data-driven decision making, focusing on KPIs and governance.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Project Manager – IT Performance Lead to drive the evolution of a strategic data product supporting IT performance management and operational excellence across the organization.

Will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and data teams, ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions that improve operational efficiency, performance visibility, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Lead Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Manage and enhance the data model supporting IT performance measurement and reporting.

• Collaborate with IT and Data teams to ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and consistency.

• Design, monitor, and analyze KPIs to measure product adoption, operational performance, and business value.

• Develop actionable insights through dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback, data analysis, and business priorities.

• Ensure transparency and effective communication with stakeholders through regular reporting and governance activities.

• Support IT transformation initiatives by promoting performance, innovation, and agility.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Data Product Owner, or similar role.

• Proven experience managing digital products throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to continuous improvement.

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong ability to gather business requirements and translate them into user stories and product features.

• Experience in user research, testing, adoption monitoring, and feedback collection.

• Proven track record delivering data-driven products that generate measurable business outcomes.

• Previous experience working in data-centric environments.

• Experience interacting with technical teams and business stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Product Management and Agile methodologies.

• Solid knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Modeling.

• Experience defining and analyzing KPIs and performance metrics.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Understanding of IT operational environments and IT performance frameworks.

• Advanced proficiency in:

  • Power BI

  • Azure DevOps

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

• Ability to communicate effectively with developers and technical teams.

Languages
