Werfen seeks a Product Manager with strong cytogenetics expertise to achieve the Business Unit objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to position solutions and expand the market share of cytogenetics offerings, shaping strategy and navigating regulatory landscapes to drive product success.

Responsibilities include tender preparation, user training, system updates, and ongoing liaison with represented companies.

Formación

• A University Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology is desirable.
• Focus on Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics.
• With a background in molecular biology and using cytogenetics instruments, preferably Metasystems on a recurrent basis.
• Spanish language fluency (native/near-native). Practical experience and knowledge in Cytogenetics are mandatory.

The Product Manager must leverage scientific and practical cytogenetics expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Unit. It is fundamental to collaborate with cross-functional teams to position solutions, expand the market share of our cytogenetics solutions, shape strategy, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.

Key Accountabilities

• Install Metasystems' instruments and perform user training
• Participate in the preparation of the tenders, writing the technical part. In collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department
• Work closely with sales team to update, install systems and execute troubleshooting.
• Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information. Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor's trainings
• Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor's analysis.
• Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method adequately
• Prepare the necessary marketing material: brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
• Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory
• Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events.
• Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles
• Keep Teams database updated, as well as the Company's website
• Work with Logistics to manage all types of product incidents: back orders, stock dimension, purchase equipment forecast, among others
• Maintain a fluid relationship with the different KOLs and support the commercial network in the visits that require it
• Train the different members of the commercial network (Area Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Application Specialists).
• Where there is no Product Specialist, assume its responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

A University Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology is desirable

Focus on Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics

With a background in molecular biology and using cytogenetics instruments, preferably Metasystems on a recurrent basis

Language:

-Spanish fluent

Practical experience and knowledge in Cytogenetcs are mandatory

Knowledge of Metasystem's solution is highly desirable
