Btech, Barcelona Technical Center SL, seeks a Product Engineer for a project with a major OEM in Brussels. You must be available to relocate to Brussels and contribute to the development of seat components, working with client and engineering teams to align specifications.

The role involves CAE/FEM analysis, design optimization, and ongoing improvements to weight, durability, and ergonomics. CATIA proficiency and English at B2/C1 are required.

• Availability to move to Brussels.
• Engineering degree is required.
• Around 2 years of experience in development of functional parts or components in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in CATIA or similar CAD tools.
• English level B2/C1 is required.

Responsabilidades

• Make technical decisions in the development and design of seat components (structures, frames, foams, trims, manual/electric adjustment systems).
• Participate in client and engineering team meetings, aligning specs and resolving design, validation and manufacturing issues.
• Define and approve changes for continuous improvement to reduce weight and improve ergonomics and durability.
• Detect and analyze errors in CAE/FEM simulations and propose solutions for seat reliability.

At Btech, we are in a phase of growth and expansion, and we are looking to incorporate a Product Engineer for a project with an important OEM located in Brussels. It is essential that the candidate is available to move to Brussels.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Make technical decisions in the development and design of seat components (structures, frames, foams, trims, manual/electric adjustment systems), ensuring functionality, comfort, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in internal meetings with the client and engineering teams, aligning specifications and resolving technical issues related to the design, validation, and manufacturing of seats.
• Define and approve changes aimed at continuous improvement, optimizing design, materials, and processes to reduce weight, increase durability, and improve ergonomics and user experience.
• Detect and analyze errors in structural, comfort, and safety simulations (CAE/FEM), proposing effective solutions to ensure seat reliability before and during industrialization.
