IQVIA is seeking 8 Product Data Officers to join the Product Reference Team in Madrid. This 6-month temporary position focuses on creating, maintaining, and enhancing the Global Medical Devices Product Reference Database, ensuring high data quality and consistency across sources.

You will classify, standardise, and group products per business rules, while collaborating with Governance and Business teams to improve reference data structures and processes in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Industry knowledge of Medical Devices products and classifications is valued.
• Advanced English; other European languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and validate equivalent product records across multiple data sources.
• Create, update, and maintain Medical Devices product reference data.
• Classify, standardise, and group products according to rules and hierarchies.
• Conduct product research using internal and external sources.
• Utilise AI and digital tools to collect, structure, enrich, and analyse product information.
• Review AI-generated content for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze product data to identify enhancements and process improvements.
• Detect and correct inaccurate or duplicate records.
• Investigate and resolve routine data issues.
• Perform quality control to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain process documentation and procedures.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve data quality.

Position Purpose

We are looking for 8 Product Data Officers to join our Product Reference Team in Madrid. This 6-month temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to join a multicultural, dynamic, and collaborative team while developing expertise in the rapidly growing Medical Devices sector.

As a member of the Product Reference Team, you will contribute to the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Global Medical Devices Product Reference Database. You will be responsible for researching, analysing, standardising, and validating product information from multiple sources to ensure the highest standards of data quality, consistency, and integrity.

You will also collaborate with Governance and Business teams to identify opportunities for data improvements, new classifications, product groupings, and enhanced reference data structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and validate equivalent product records across multiple data sources to ensure data consistency and integration.
• Create, update, and maintain Medical Devices product reference data.
• Classify, standardise, and group products according to established business rules, hierarchies, and operating procedures.
• Conduct product research using a variety of internal and external information sources.
• Utilise Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to collect, structure, enrich, and analyse product information.
• Review, verify, and validate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Support Governance and Business teams by analysing product data and identifying opportunities for enhancements and process improvements.
• Detect and correct inaccurate, incomplete, or duplicate data records.
• Investigate and resolve routine data issues and exceptions.
• Perform quality control activities to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Maintain and update process documentation and operating procedures.
• Identify automation opportunities and leverage technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reference data management practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Qualification, Preferably In

Industry Knowledge - Understanding of Medical Devices products, classifications, terminology, and related data sources is highly valued.

Languages

Advanced level of English (written and spoken). Additional European languages, particularly French, German, or Italian, are considered a strong asset.
