Airbus CRISA in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) seeks a Product Assurance Manager to lead the quality function for electronic processes and ensure customer needs are met. You will define the Product Assurance Plan, perform reviews, and guide non-conformance handling across the project.

Required: 8+ years in SW Product assurance or related QA roles; engineering degree and advanced English. This role involves some travel and offers permanent employment in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in SW Product assurance or QA for devices.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC product assurance and quality processes.
• Engineering degree (electronic, automatic, aeronautic) or physics/chemistry; advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• For the project, define and apply the Product Assurance Plan.
• Certify product conformity with specifications and manage non-conformances.
• Lead reviews, risk management and APQP activities.
• Coordinate QA actions and QA budget with customers and internal teams.
• Support incident resolution through root-cause analysis (5 Why's, PFMEA).

Job Description:A Product Assurance Manager position is now open at Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area). This is a permanent employment opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic team within the framework of Airbus Crisa equipment product development (satellites and launchers) focused on:- Shape the future based on innovation of our products, new technologies and way of working- State of the art product consolidation- Continuous Performance improvement.Definitely, we are moved by our passion to make it fly!Tasks and responsibilitiesThe PA manager will be responsible for:Ensuring the quality function of different electronic processes (conception, integration, programming, tests, etc.)Helping the project team which you are part of to succeedGuaranteeing that customer needs are metDefining and applying the Product Assurance PlanEnsuring the quality of develop processesThe above-mentioned responsibilities will include the following task:Ensuring the quality interface with the customerEstablishing and conducting the quality plan implementationConducting reviews/milestones (internal or contractual),Leading and supporting the justification files with relevant arguments (anomaly processing, etc.)Identifying quality relevant risks and supporting the implementation of Quality Improvement initiatives and APQP throughout the ProjectSupporting the resolution of incidents through problem solving activities such as route cause analysis, PPS, 5WHYs, PFMEA, etc.Leading and supporting the process of Non-Conformance ManagementEnsuring the consistency between customer requirements and Airbus Crisa quality know-how (standard quality plan)Participating in the definition of the actions for risk mitigationCoordinating quality actions and managing the quality budgetCertifying product conformity with its specification. To do this, you will be supported by Quality staff to guarantee the correct processing of product non-conformances.KEY DELIVERABLES: Product Assurance Plan, Non-Conformance Analysis and Consolidated Action Plan including feedback, Technical Risk Register, Risk Mitigation Plan, End to End Product/Service Conformity, Attestation, APQPKey Business Deliverables such as Quality Plan Timing (when owner).KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: to demonstrate conformity to processes and requirements at Programme level to Customers and External Authorities (when authorized), to drive non conformity management at Programme level.This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.Work experience requirements: more than 8 years of experience in SW Product assurance, Device (FPGA/ASIC) Product assurance or Product Quality assurance.Educational requirements:Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering (Electronic, Automatic, Aeronautic, etc.) or Physics, Chemistry, etc...Advanced Level of EnglishSoft skills set required: Strong communication skills, team player, analytical skills, rigorous approach, ability to think ahead and anticipateFeel like you can't tick some boxes above?
