Bayer in Barcelona is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Manager (German) to lead strategic sourcing for Technical Goods & Services. You will coordinate with Procurement Regional Managers and Category Leads, manage supplier relationships, and drive value through robust supply agreements while leveraging market intelligence.

Fluent English and German are required. A science, engineering, or business background plus experience in procurement operations and Ariba will help you excel in our globally

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent work experience.
• Solid experience as a Sourcing Manager or in procurement operations.
• Proficiency with Ariba and MS Office; knowledge of AI tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English and German.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Sourcing: Lead sourcing activities with external suppliers from the Technical Goods & Services sector, communicate supply constraints, and collaborate with Procurement Regional Managers and Category Leads on strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, set joint targets, and provide procurement expertise.
• Supplier Management: Cultivate relationships with suppliers, support the development of robust supply agreements, and utilize market intelligence to mitigate risks and enhance competitive advantage.

What You Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Solid experience as a Sourcing Manager or equivalent role, related to procurement operations or supply chain management, specifically in the Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health, Chemical or Technical Goods and Services industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite, including AI tools.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and German is mandatory.
