EM&E Group in Valencia is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead advanced contract negotiations with international suppliers in aerospace and defense. You will shape commercial agreements, optimize delivery timelines, and mitigate risk while ensuring technical requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in procurement within complex industrial sectors, with a degree in Industrial Engineering and bilingual English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced contract negotiations with national and international suppliers.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage SRM and long-term supplier relationships for optimum performance.
• Drive cost optimization and cross-purchasing while maintaining technical specs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production and Legal on commercial agreements.

At our company, an international reference in the aerospace and defense sector, we are looking for a Procurement Manager for our Valencia branch. ?

What will you do on a daily basis? ?

• Advanced Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key suppliers from early stages to final closure, securing optimal conditions for pricing, delivery timelines, service levels, and contractual risk mitigation.
• Supplier Evaluation and Qualification: Identify, audit, and select national and international technological partners that comply with the rigorous quality standards, traceability, and regulations of the aerospace and defense sector.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Build and maintain solid, long‑term relationships with top manufacturers and distributors, ensuring optimal supply chain performance.
• Cost Optimization and Cross-Purchasing: Analyze material and service cost structures, driving competitive bidding and seeking operational efficiencies without compromising technical requirements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Legal departments to align technical needs with established commercial agreements.

Who are we looking for? ?

• Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5–8 years of experience in procurement departments within complex industrial sectors, with a strong preference for backgrounds in aerospace, defense, advanced automotive.
• Languages: Bilingual level of English (essential), as you will regularly negotiate in international environments.
