PLD Space, headquartered in Elche, is seeking a Procurement Engineer focused on industrial machinery. You will source, evaluate, and contract suppliers for CNC machines, lathes, welding systems, and fabrication tools, coordinating with Engineering and Manufacturing to meet production needs.

You will manage RFQ/RFP processes, FATs, installation, and commissioning, while ensuring cost, quality, and lead-time alignment.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement of industrial equipment, capital goods, or manufacturing assets.
• Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating complex industrial machinery or production systems.
• Strong understanding of CAPEX procurement processes and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of industrial machinery, ensuring best balance of cost, lead time and reliability.
• Define and manage supplier selection for equipment such as CNC centers, lathes, welding systems, and fabrication machinery.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to define technical specs, machine requirements and capabilities.
• Act as main interface with suppliers during RFQ/RFP, FAT, installation and commissioning.
• Manage contracts for CAPEX and maintenance, spare parts, and technical services.
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery, uptime, and service response; mitigate risks and drive improvements.
