Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid (Getafe) seeks an Entry Level Procurement specialist for the Flight Controls Commodity. You will help develop sub-commodity strategies, analyze markets, and support tendering, negotiations and long-term contracts to secure value for money across our platforms.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, PMO, Quality, Finance) to ensure supplier performance, risk management, and robust supplier evaluations.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, or related areas.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and monitor a commodity strategy for your perimeter.
• Manage supplier relationships and supplier development programs.
• Lead the Sub-Commodity Multi-Functional Team (MFT).
• Drive bids, tenders, and supplier selection processes.
• Lead negotiations to meet program expectations and contractual terms.
• Coordinate supplier evaluations and vendor management actions.

It's an exciting time to be part of Procurement!A vacancy has arisen in the lines of our Commodity Managers within strategic procurement, which is a vital part in the procurement and supply chain community.You will join the Flight Controls Commodity for all ADS platforms, which will give you a unique wide vision of the Aibus Defence&Space current and future business. You will work developing structural relationships with well established worldwide suppliers and managing complex workpackages.One of the main responsibilities is to develop, and execute, a strategy for your sub-commodities, which will include to get a deep understanding of the market, technology evolution, tendering, negotiations and long-term contract establishment with suppliers. As well supplier analysis (supplier evaluation, supplier financial analysis, etc), risk assessment and management, and make or buy business case, etc. You will develop a solid working knowledge of certain commodity trends including: cost drivers, global pricing, market and industry trends and material lead times to maintain availability of cost-effective supplies of materials, equipment and services.You will coordinate all activities within the Multifunctional Teams - MFT of your domain (with members from different functions like e.g. Engineering, Finance, PMO, Quality etc.) to safeguard the successful management of your sub-commodity, securing our lines and enabling value for money proposals for our platforms. With your work, you will contribute to the profitability of our company and to the expansion of our successful projects and related services, which is a vital part of Airbus Defence and Space growth strategy.Commodity management requires a strategic and robust plan to ensure that both value and risk are managed correctly, and innovation is encouraged.
