Job description

Logistics & Warehouse Shopfloor Operator
Who we are

You’ll be joining a diverse and ambitious team, spread across Germany, Canada, and Spain, all working together to shape the future of sustainable energy. At PowerCo we celebrate collaboration, progress and that spark that turns bold ideas into real impact. From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe — and you can be part of it.

Your role and key responsibilities

This position will be part of our Operations Department, the heart of PowerCo — where innovation becomes reality. This area brings together multiple teams working on the construction of our gigafactory and the different stages of battery cell production. From engineering and design to process optimization and production excellence, Operations is where the future of energy takes shape.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Handle key logistics tasks such as receiving goods, loading/unloading trucks, preparing materials, supplying production lines, and managing empty packaging and waste.
  • Operate logistics equipment safely (pallet jacks, forklifts, AGVs, scanners, printers) following internal instructions.
  • Keep SAP or related systems updated with basic material movements, stock confirmations, and inventory checks.
  • Maintain your work area clean, organized, and aligned with 5S and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with logistics officers, production teams, and warehouse colleagues to solve issues and ensure a smooth workflow.
What you bring to the team
  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, material handling, or similar industrial environments.
  • Ability to work following clear procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Teamwork, clear communication, and willingness to learn new tools and equipment.
  • Experience with SAP, ASRS, conveyors, AGVs, or WMS systems is a plus.
  • Driving and handling equipment certifications (MHE) are valued, but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work in Sagunto. While some teams are currently based in Valencia, operations will progressively move to Sagunto, so we require availability from the start.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
What makes you stand out
  • Experience in automated logistics systems (AGV, ASRS, conveyors).
  • Knowledge of stock control or warehouse processes.
  • Possession of a disability certificate of 33% or more is valued. We encourage individuals of all abilities to apply. Our company is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment that embraces neurodiversity, functional diversity, and all forms of individuality. We believe in the strength of diverse perspectives and strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and welcome.
What to look forward to
  • Competitive salary, aligned with the Collective Bargaining Agreement from the Chemical Industry.
  • Health insurance with co-pay (80% paid by the employee and 20% by the company) and life insurance. Subsidized cafeteria at our facilities.
  • Access to Gympass to support your physical and mental well-being.
  • Permanent contract, because we want to build something with you for the long term.
  • 22 vacation days per year.
  • Employee discounts, including special rates on Group vehicles.
