Kyoto Group AS is seeking a Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities across our thermal energy storage projects, from concept to commissioning. You will ensure engineering quality, work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, and help deliver robust solutions that accelerate decarbonization.

We're looking for a strong background in thermal process engineering (CSP/thermal storage) with experience in relevant standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, industrial, or process engineering.
• Extensive experience in thermal process engineering, CSP, thermal energy storage, or steam generation systems.
• Molten salt systems experience desirable.
• Experience applying API, ANSI, and ISO standards to equipment design/specification.
• Familiarity with Pipe-Flo, Thermoflex, and Aspen HYSYS.
• Strong thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics knowledge.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process engineering activities across assigned projects, providing technical leadership within the engineering team.
• Develop and review process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, heat/mass balances).
• Support sizing and specification of process equipment (heat exchangers, pumps, valves, tanks, piping).
• Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and project managers through all phases.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with vendors/subcontractors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of process design methodologies and performance.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date engineering documentation.
