ALTEN Portugal is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join its Aeronautics division, focusing on defining, validating, and verifying complex manufacturing processes in regulated environments. You will work on work orders, FI creation, and support to production, analyzing 2D/3D drawings and routings, and deploying continuous improvement actions.

The ideal candidate has aeronautical manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with SAP platforms, PFMEAS, SLB, and SAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Work orders creation;
• FI creation;
• Support to production;
• Product drawings analysis;
• Routings creation;
• Support on problems solving subject;
• Deploy all required actions to support production flow and pace;
• Assess, define and deploy continuous improvement tasks.

Required Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members;
• Analytical and math skills;
• Ability to perform under stress;
• An understand of purchase order software platforms (SAP);
• Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate;
• Ability to work with other team members;
• Understanding of the technical design 2D and 3D;
• Knowledge of SAP PE1;
• Aeronautical industry experience (technical manufacturing or process engineering);
• Understanding of the main basic manufacturing processes (drilling, sealant, riveting,countersinking, …);
• Experiences with PFMEAS and standard line balancing (SLB);
• Capacity to create work orders for nominal process and repairs according to aeronautical;
• manufacturing standards.
