Job summary

Sensient Technologies busca un Ingeniero/a de Procesos Químicos para nuestra planta en Lerma, Madrid. La función implica planificar, monitorizar y optimizar procesos de fabricación, y liderar mejoras que reduzcan tiempos y variabilidad.

Qualifications

• Bachiller/profesional en Ingeniería Química o equivalente.
• 5+ años de experiencia en ingeniería de procesos, preferentemente en industrias de alimentos, farmacéutica o químicas.
• Experiencia en control de procesos a nivel planta y en implementación de mejoras.
• Experiencia en llevar proyectos desde desarrollo hasta operación en planta.
• Conocimientos de fabricación, calidad y control de procesos.
• Experiencia con JD Edwards u otro ERP y MS Office.
• Inglés intermedio-alto y buenas habilidades de comunicación.

Responsibilities

• Planificar, supervisar y controlar procesos de fabricación de principio a fin.
• Optimizar flujos de trabajo para reducir tiempos y variabilidad.
• Identificar, evaluar y mitigar riesgos de procesos mediante mejoras.
• Desarrollar e implementar nuevos productos y proyectos en planta.
• Mantener información de proceso y cronogramas de mejora actualizados.
• Servir como enlace entre producción y equipos técnicos, especialmente apoyo a planta en St. Louis.

We are looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to work at our manufacturing site in Lerma.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, monitor, and control production processes and variables from start to finish.
• Optimize workflows, reduce production times and variability, and maximize product capabilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate process risks while implementing process improvement and optimization strategies.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and launch of new products and projects, taking them through to successful plant-floor execution.
• Provide and maintain accurate process information, documentation, and improvement schedules.
• Serve as a key link between production and the technical needs of manufacturing processes, working closely with plant personnel and technical teams in St.Louis.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in process engineering, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related process industries.
• Hands-on experience with plant-level process control, management of process variables, and implementation of process improvement and optimization strategies.
• Experience taking projects from development through implementation and transitioning them successfully to an operational level on the plant floor.
• Technical knowledge of production, quality, quality assurance, and process control in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERP system, personnel management, and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to advanced English, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with plant personnel and technical teams.
