Sig Combibloc busca un Ingeniero de Diseño de Procesos con experiencia en equipos de procesamiento de alimentos. Liderarás el diseño mecánico y la ingeniería de equipos, enfocándote en sistemas de llenado, CIP/SIP y procesamiento aséptico.

Se requiere al menos 5 años en industrias alimentarias o afines, grado en Ingeniería Mecánica, y dominio de CAD (preferiblemente SolidWorks). Inglés y español fluent es imprescindible para trabajar en equipos internacionales.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or related process industries, with a focus on equipment design and engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, process equipment, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience with aseptic processing, filling technologies, CIP/SIP systems, or hygienic equipment design is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is considered an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mechanical design and engineering of equipment, with a strong focus on food processing, aseptic and hot-fill technologies, filling systems, and related process equipment.
• Participate in the design and development of complete aseptic and hot-fill production systems, including filling equipment, CIP/SIP systems, and product handling solutions.
• Expand beyond component-level design to drive system-level engineering, integration, and process concepts, P&IDs, equipment layouts, technical specifications, and engineering expertise in aseptic processing, sterilization technologies, fluid dynamics, and hygienic design principles.
• Solve complex engineering challenges related to food safety, process performance, validation, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives and the development of next-generation filling and processing solutions.
• Bridge the gap between engineering design and operational reality by continuously improving designs based on field experience and customer feedback.
• Support FAT, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Ensure engineered solutions perform reliably and efficiently throughout their operational lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design, Automation, R&D, Project Management, Product Management, and Operations teams.
• Travel internationally to support commissioning, start-ups, troubleshooting, and customer projects.
• Work directly with customers, suppliers, and OEM partners to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities
