Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Process Control Engineer to join our client’s operations team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will design, implement, and maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems to optimize chemical processes, improve safety, and reduce variability.

You should have a strong background in instrumentation, control theory, and automation, with hands-on experience in loop tuning, SIS knowledge considered a plus.

Qualificações

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in process control engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with major PLC and DCS platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation and control hardware and software.

Requirements
