Otto Group is seeking a Python-focused developer to design, build, and operate scalable automation solutions within a serverless framework. You will orchestrate data workflows using AWS services like Lambda, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch, with occasional GCP usage.

You will integrate systems via APIs and query MySQL, Postgres, and Snowflake to ensure reliable data movement. The role requires strong Python skills, familiarity with Node.js, and solid experience in CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.

Formación

• Strong proficiency in Python development; Node.js experience is advantageous.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and version control (GitHub).
• Familiarity with container technologies (Podman).
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable process automation solutions using Python in a serverless setup.
• Orchestrate event-driven workflows with AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch; some GCP use).
• Build and manage integrations with external/internal systems via APIs (JSON/XML/CSV).
• Query MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake to ensure data flow accuracy.
• Ensure code quality, version control, and teamwork with GitHub.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with colleagues in Spain and Germany.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable process automation solutions primarily using Python within a serverless architecture.
• Orchestrate event-driven workflows utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch (with occasional usage of GCP).
• Build and manage integrations with external and internal systems via APIs, handling data structures including JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Connect and query diverse database environments, specifically MySQL, Postgres and Snowflake, to ensure accurate data flow.
• Ensure code quality, version control, and collaboration using GitHub.
• You will join to a cross-functional team together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany!

What's your story?

• Strong proficiency in Python development is required; basic experience with Node.js is advantageous.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (specifically Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and version control (GitHub) as understanding of container technologies (Podman).
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have (if applicable)

• First experience with AWS Bedrock and/or GCP Vertex.
