Otto Group is seeking a skilled Python developer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions within a serverless architecture. You will orchestrate event‑driven workflows using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch, and integrate with internal and external systems via APIs.

You will work in a cross‑functional team with colleagues in Spain and Germany, applying CI/CD practices and GitHub for code management.

Formación

• Strong Python development experience is required.
• Good knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions using Python in a serverless setup.
• Orchestrate event-driven workflows with AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch).
• Build integrations via APIs and manage data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
• Query MySQL, Postgres, and Snowflake to ensure accurate data flow.
• Maintain code quality and collaboration with GitHub in a cross-functional team.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable process automation solutions primarily using Python within a serverless architecture.
• Orchestrate event-driven workflows utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch (with occasional usage of GCP).
• Build and manage integrations with external and internal systems via APIs, handling data structures including JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Connect and query diverse database environments, specifically MySQL, Postgres and Snowflake, to ensure accurate data flow.
• Ensure code quality, version control, and collaboration using GitHub.
• You will join to a cross-functional team together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany!

What's your story?

• Strong proficiency in Python development is required; basic experience with Node.js is advantageous.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (specifically Lambda, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and version control (GitHub) as understanding of container technologies (Podman).
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have (if applicable)

• First experience with AWS Bedrock and/or GCP Vertex.
