Datavant in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a Data Scientist (Privacy) to advance privacy in data sharing while analysing large health datasets. You will work in the Privacy Science team, contributing to research on re-identification risk and producing rigorous reports.

The role emphasizes independent exploration, strong communication, and application of scientific methods to practical privacy problems, with a hybrid work setup including two days in the Gracia office.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or similar.
• Proficiency with programmable data analysis software Python.
• Understanding of probability distributions, bias, error and power.
• Able to relate real-world data in context and apply scientific methods.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and meticulous reporting skills.
• Willingness to explore novel topics independently and adapt.
• Awareness of data privacy and security regulations.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud storage/computing.

Responsabilités
