AECOM Madrid is seeking a qualified Highways Engineer to join our Linear Infrastructures team. The role involves roadway design from feasibility to detailed design for private and public sector clients, with opportunities to participate in international projects and collaborate with global offices.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in highway/Civil designs, proficiency in CAD tools like OpenRoads/Civil 3D/12d, and a solid commitment to quality control. Fluent English is essential.

• Proven track record of working on highway/track/Civils designs (+2 years).
• Intermediate in at least one software packages: OpenRoads, Civil 3d, 12d Model
• Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
• Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

• Performing daily work under Designer’s supervision
• Can set standards and procedures for CAD works
• Working on complex drawings in 2D and 3D including markups and cad works
• Preparing geometric design of linear infrastructures
• May train less experienced staff in preparation of drawing and graphic elements.

Job Description

We are looking for aHighways Engineer with experience in roadway design, to join our busy and expanding experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East.
