Turner & Townsend is seeking a Principal Consultant to join its Technology consulting team in Madrid. You will lead analytics projects, capture requirements, and design data models and dashboards using BI tools. The role involves working with clients to translate needs into implementable data solutions and workshops to drive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong data skills, proficiency in Power BI/Tableau, and experience in data warehousing and modelling within a consulting context.

Due to growing demand for our consultancy services, we areseekingto recruit a Principal Consultant with database development, database management, process & data mapping, and data analysis skillsets to join our specialist Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team. The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions, and we are seeking an individual with a strongtrack recordof delivering data and analytics projects.

Additionally, it is essential to sell solutions to clients, explain and capture client requirements, andfacilitateworkshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a project team consisting of analysts & consultants on a range of tasks, including:
• Develop project execution plans and lead end-to-end project delivery with Commission Directors
• Lead client engagements to capture data,analysisandmodelling requirements
• Identifyand run different business and model scenarios
• Develop end-to-end data processes and data models
• Design data solutions in collaboration with clients and their IT teams
• Build dashboards and visualisations using a variety of tools
• Supporting client’s use of model outputs for decision making
• Testsolutionsand models against requirements
• Conduct assurance checks of implementedsolutions
• Preparewritten project communication materials, includingformal project progress and other reports
• Preparepresentation and other materials for client pitchesand business generation purposes

Qualifications

• This role will require good analytic and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations.Abilityto programme in languages such asDAX, Python,VBAand SQL
• Degree ineitheran analytic subject, e.g.Maths, Geography, Engineering, Economics etc- desirableorConstruction (Civil Engineering)
• Consulting and business analysis skills (e.g.MoSCoWmethod) to understand clients’requirements
• Experience indata warehousing anddata modelling
• Proficiencyin datavisualisationsoftware such as Power BI and Tableau
• Strong understanding ofbusiness intelligence and reporting architecture
• Strong understanding ofdimensions, measures, metadata & schemas
