Job Description

As a Principal Concept Artist, you will work closely with the Studio Art Director to create pre-production roughs and concepts for our core game titles, featuring top-quality art inspired by Disney Speedstorm and Asphalt 9. Your role is essential in shaping the visual identity of our games and bringing them to life through your artistic vision.

You will be required to deliver high-quality materials within specified deadlines, ensuring they serve as invaluable references for other artists on the production teams, and adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to an agile creative process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Concept Generation: Create character designs and illustrations in line with project requirements and the distinct styles of Disney Speedstorm and Asphalt 9.
• Creative Ideation: Generate and execute artistic ideas, maintaining the games\' unique visual identity.
• Collaborative Design: Collaborate with fellow artists and designers, departments to enhance the game\'s visual style.
• Feedback Integration: Work under the Studio Art Director\'s guidance, iterate on designs, and meet project goals and timelines.
• Art Asset Planning: Strategically plan art asset creation for characters, environments, and props.
• Passion for Concept Art: Demonstrate a genuine passion for concept art and a commitment to continuous skill improvement.
• Good Communication: Capable of giving direct feedback while helping and inspiring other team members, ensuring high-quality work and visual coherence.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent at estimating tasks and maintaining schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Autonomous: Doesn\'t require constant feedback and is able to adapt to the visual style of the games, respecting the creative direction.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in concept art or related roles, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
• Excellent proficiency in Photoshop for digital art creation.
• Proficiency with Blender for 3D modeling and design.
• Strong skills in quick sketching methods and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and the ability to work autonomously while seamlessly collaborating with the team.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration in an international environment.
