International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking an Elementary Education teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum. The role emphasizes an inclusive, safe classroom and collaboration with staff to foster student growth.

You will assess progress, provide timely feedback to students and families, and adapt teaching to diverse needs while using educational technology to enhance learning. A certified educator with experience in diverse classrooms is preferred.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or closely related field.
  • State/national teaching certification or licensure for the applicable region.
  • Desirable: additional qualifications in special education, literacy, or curriculum development.

  • Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment.
  • Use diverse teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and report student progress regularly to stakeholders.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Maintain classroom routines promoting respectful behaviour and high standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Uphold school policies and maintain professional standards.
  • Address individual student needs, including those with special educational needs.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports the diverse learning needs of all students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress, development, and attainment of students regularly.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
  • Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student learning and well-being.
  • Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and professionalism.
  • Identify and respond to the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
  • Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning and engagement.

  • Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Effective classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
  • Teaching certification or licensure valid for the specific state, region, or country
  • Additional qualifications or training in special education, literacy, or curriculum development (desirable)
Experience
  • Previous experience teaching elementary-aged children (typically 1–3 years or more)
  • Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities
  • Familiarity with the curriculum and educational standards relevant to the school
  • Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
  • Participation in professional development and ongoing teacher training
