Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, record, and report on the progress, development, and attainment of students regularly.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student learning and well‑being.
• Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and professionalism.

• Previous experience teaching elementary‑aged children (typically 1–3 years or more).
• Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
• Familiarity with the curriculum and educational standards relevant to the school.
• Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
• Participation in professional development and ongoing teacher training.
