Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) seeks an early-stage predoctoral researcher to develop their research career under supervision at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. The role emphasizes doctoral-level work, structured training, and participation in high-quality scientific projects.

You will contribute to publications, conferences and seminars, while pursuing a doctoral thesis and engaging in professional development and outreach activities within an international

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 300 ECTS or equivalent access to doctoral studies.
• Admitted to a doctoral programme at start of appointment.
• English level B2 or equivalent (CEFR).

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete a doctoral research project and thesis.
• Conduct high-quality research under supervision; data collection, analysis, literature review.
• Collaborate on experiments, protocols and publications; support scientific communications.
• Present findings within the team and at conferences/seminars.
• Participate in doctoral training and professional development activities.
