Fundació Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron- Institut de recerca seeks a Junior Researcher for the Experimental Cardiovascular Laboratory. The role focuses on doctoral-level research under supervision, with structured training and active participation in high-quality projects.

You will contribute to the team’s objectives, work towards your doctoral thesis, and disseminate results through publications, conferences and seminars.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Translational Biomedical Research and 300 ECTS including at least 60 at master’s level.
• English level B2 or equivalent (CEFR).
• Fluency in Catalan and/or Spanish.
• Admitted to a doctoral programme at the start of appointment.
• Experience in cardiovascular research and molecular mechanisms of cardiac damage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and complete a doctoral research project and thesis.
• Conduct high-quality research under supervision, including data collection and literature review.
• Collaborate with senior researchers on designing experiments and publications.
• Present research findings at team meetings, conferences or seminars.
• Participate in doctoral training and professional development activities.
• Develop translational research projects addressing clinical issues in cardiology.
