Job summary

UNIVERSIDAD DE ZARAGOZA invites applications for two Predoc positions within the ERC Synergy project focused on quantum technologies for axion dark matter detection. The work spans development of detection systems, photon counters with superconducting qubits, and setup preparation for multiple collaborations, including RADES, at Canfranc and other facilities.

Candidates should have experience in particle physics experiments or data analysis, and be prepared to contribute to software for data

Qualifications

• Experience in experimentation or data analysis in particle physics or astroparticle physics.
• Familiarity with data analysis software and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of dark matter axion detection systems within the DarkQuantum project.
• Develop a photon counter using superconducting qubits and quantum technologies.
• Assist in preparing experimental setups for DarkQuantum and RADES collaborations, covering low- and high-frequency regimes.
• Develop analysis software to analyze data from the experimental setups.
