Hikrobot in Madrid is seeking STEM students for a 6-month internship in pre-sales solution engineering for AGV/AMR projects. Interns will support customer needs assessment, data analysis, and assist with technical proposals.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills in Spanish and are preferably fluent in Chinese. This role offers hands-on experience fostering skills in technical pre-sales and solution engineering within a global leader in automation.

Formación

• STEM students currently enrolled in school willing to undertake an internship of at least 6 months.
• Excellent communication in Spanish and preferred Chinese language skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp robot systems and automation concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Support pre‑sales solution engineering for AGV/AMR projects.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel to evaluate customer requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and feasibility studies.

Your mission

Location: Madrid

Main Responsibilities

• Support pre‑sales solution engineering for AGV/AMR projects — assist with customer needs assessment, data analysis, and technical concepting.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, feasibility studies, layout drawings, and presentation materials.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel or other tools to evaluate customer requirements, workflow scenarios, and solution performance metrics.
• Develop and refine calculation tools for solution sizing, technical validations, and performance assessments.
• Support analysis of technical regulations and compliance requirements (CE marking, safety standards, industry regulations) for European markets.
• Assist with technical documentation and translations between English, Chinese, and other European languages.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, R&D) to ensure solution feasibility.
• Opportunity to conduct a research project focused on Hikrobot solution analysis and market technology competitiveness. Interested candidates are encouraged to reach out to discuss research topics.

Job Requirements

• STEM students currently enrolled in school who are willing to undertake an internship of at least 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and Chinese language skills are highly preferred. Additional European languages (German, Dutch, Polish, Czech, etc.) are a plus.
• Undergraduate or graduate students in engineering (automation, mechanical, mechatronics, logistics) who can quickly grasp robot systems and automation concepts.
• Data analysis skills and 2D/3D CAD experience (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) are preferred. Simulation experience (static or dynamic) is a plus.
• Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and commitment to achieving team goals.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
