STACKIT Database is seeking an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) for Barcelona to lead a cross-functional team delivering PostgreSQL-based DBaaS. You will set architectural direction, guide cloud-native deployments, and drive automation and reliability across the service lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, participate in recruiting, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align roadmaps with strategic goals.

Formación

• Proven leadership of engineering teams to success and architectural vision.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MS SQL Server, HA, replication, performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering teams as player-coach, guide architecture and code touches as needed.
• Shape future of Managed DBaaS within cloud ecosystem; design robust, scalable Postgres solutions.
• Drive automation of deployment, patching, and scaling via REST APIs for self-service.
• Mentor engineers, recruit and develop a world-class team.
• Implement SRE practices to ensure reliability and data integrity throughout the service lifecycle.
• Bridge engineering and business stakeholders in Architecture Board and related groups.
