BC3 - Basque Centre for Climate Change invites applications for a temporary full-time Researcher position. The role focuses on conceptualizing and executing a research design to analyse trade-offs of the green energy transition, nature's diverse values, and social justice within a Basque Country case study.

Formación

• PhD in environmental or ecological economics and related disciplines.
• Proven quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Knowledge of environmental valuation and green energy transition.
• Fieldwork experience for primary data collection.
• Ability to coordinate transdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and oral English.

Responsabilidades

• Design a research plan to analyse trade-offs of the green energy transition, nature's values, and social justice.
• Generate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data based on a case study.
• Carry out empirically-based research on a Basque Country case study using mixed methods, including stakeholder engagement.
• Review literature to support conceptual and empirical research.
• Assist day-to-day project management to meet deliverables and milestones.
• Support communication and dissemination of project activities and outputs.
• Lead and contribute to research articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
