The Aragon Health Research Institute Foundation (IIS Aragon) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Group B projects. The role centers on cannulation and perfusion of porcine organs, under supervision by the Project Manager or Unit Manager.

Candidates should hold a Medicine and Surgery degree and a Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences, with at least twelve months of experience in normothermic ex vivo organ perfusion. Start date: July 22; reference HR-******.

Formación

• Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.
• Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences.
• Twelve months of experience in research with perfusion, preservation or maintenance of ex vivo organs in normothermic perfusion machines.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in cannulation of porcine organs from slaughterhouses under supervision.
• Participate in cannulation and extraction of porcine organs from animal models following established protocols.
• Support in training in extraction and cannulation of porcine kidneys and livers for platform and IIS Aragon staff.
• Performs perfusion of isolated organs (liver, kidney) ex vivo in advanced perfusion machines.
